summit is good.. i would suggest a flex-a-lite.. dont forget the 2" spacer.. but on another note, you might as well get an electric.. not sure on what size mechanical but a good way to find out is measure the inside diameter of the fan shroud and subtract an inch or so..

i was gonna go to electric but no one seems to want to sell me the relay and temp switch and wiring plugs and other stuff to convert to electric

sooooo.... i give up on that much now,

and so ill just put a solid mech fan on it and use my original shroud and everything and save myself the headache of it all, since no one around here seems to want to help ppl out with parts anymore
and then even if someone did have the parts finally, they would think they are made of gold and want some crazy amount of moolah for them

so hmm..

thanks!

Randy,

I just converted my 82Z to a serpentine system. I can't use my clutch fan assembly anymore. It only has 22,000 miles on it. My car is a very low milage car and if your interested in it I'll make you a great deal on it. It is in perfect shape.

PM me if interested.

when i re did my motor i upgraded to anodized flex fan, i mean you cant really see it from where its at, but it works fantastic and i notice cooling differences at idle especailly over the stock flex fan

was I mentioning to you what I did Randy? I don't want to repeat myself, but since you've started a new thread (and I can't honestly remember if it was you...)
I'd use what I did - the 2" spacer, $20 or something, and a flex-a-lite brand nylon fan. The nylon is super light weight, and around $17 or so.
I forget what the diameter was, but it first perfectly. I could dig and find it, but I hope someone else knows offhand easier...
