Fan Control Question

The electric fan on my 1986 Camaro does not come on until I think the engine is about to ran hot! My question is can I buy a different fan relay or control or what ever it,s called so my electric fan will come on before the engine runs so hot??????

there are many aftermarket controllers you can buy to do this, i recently got one from summit, derale brand name, that is adjustable and runs both my fans. im not sure about your year but my computer is supposed to control my primary fan and there is a switch on the pass head to control the secondary fan.

Most people would recommend the high priced SLP one (manual switch), but any of the other ones will do. Just choose based on when you want it to come on (where you live may have a factor).
