Universal radiator size...

Hey guys, I'm working on upgrading my cooling system, and was wondering if anyone knew what the best fitting size is in a universal radiator? I just bought a house this year, so my build was severely budgeted, though I don't want to cheap out on the quality, the savings by going universal over direct fit is pretty significant. I've got no objections to making a few modifications to get a radiator to fit, but don't want to make more work than is necessary. I'm planning on going with a griffen, or a titan radiator, and a stewart water pump.

Any advice on sizing you guys could give me is very much appreciated, as it's always easier (and cheaper) to learn from someone else's findings, as opposed to making costly mistakes.
