Intake Manifold to heater core to radiator delete?
I've long since removed the Heater control valve, so I've got big ugly heater hoses running directly from the intake manifold to the heater core, and then back to the radiator.
I was originally planning to do away with the heater core alltogether (for appearance purposes) but I decided to not go toooo gung ho, and see how often I used the heat. It was LAST April!!!
I just don't use it, and I show the car all the time. I've decided to go ahead and remove the heater core fromt the loop, so to speak, and that brings me to the whole point of the thread:
Do I need a heater hose running from the intake manifold directly to the radiator, or can I just cap both ends and call it a day.
Thanks for reading!

I've been looking for caps to do this too. but the goofs at autozone look at me like I'm ignorant and say they don't know what I'm talking about, and summit says they don't have anything to cap them off. where can I get a cap for the water pump and intake? I've got a holley dominator intake if it makes a difference.

Go to the help section at advanced auto. There are assortments of vacuum and heater hose caps. Im sure you can find something to work there.
Ya if you ask them they are clueless.
