where to mount probe for fan switch???

ok i read throuh this thread--https://www.thirdgen.org/forums/cool...ghlight=hayden --and the instructions that came with the switch, i have hayden 3652. i ops checked it and it failed. according to the instructions it said to make sure the probe is touching a tube. also said to put it 3-4 inches below the inlet hose.

my 2 questions--

1. the inlet hose is on the upper drivers side correct?

2. where are the tubes at in the radiator?

thanks for all the help.

the tubes are between all those little foil like zig zags, push the sensor threw the radiator carefully a few inches from the top inlet on the rad and secure it so its tight.

The tubes are the flat little lines you see in between all the zig zag foils like "JustinSane" mentioned above. Just push it through about 2-3 inches below the inlet hose and secure it and you're good to go. I've got the same kit on mine. Works fine. If you've op checked it and it doesnt work more than likely it is wiring.
