Who sells the oil filter adapters to add an external oil cooler?

Re: Oil Cooler

I was able to find a place locally that could order it and it would run me $125. Is that in the ballpark or a ripoff?

For just the adapter? You should be able to buy 3 or 4 of them for that price.

Re: Oil Cooler

Yeah. I dont want to sound ignorant, its just that I have never priced them before. I have not checked the parts stores as I didnt think they would have them. Maybe Im wrong. Any suggestions as to which specific place might have one of these much more reasonably priced units?

Re: Oil Cooler

Summit has an entry level kit from Derale. It's just about 80 bucks for the adapter, 10ft of hose, fitting and the cooler. I forget the part number, but it was a breeze to put it.
