Fan Issues?
So I was driving today and noticed my engine temp. was at 220*-230*. So I parked it and popped the hood, and noticed that the fans weren't on. There is nothing obstructing the fan and no visible cracks that I can tell. What degree should the fans be coming on

Re: Fan Issues?
Yea unfortunatly the factory in their odd ways wanted our cars to run hot because they think it increases fuel economy, when really it's just cooking the engine and heads. You can buy a Jet performance fan switch to replace the stock one that turns the fans on at 195 and off at 185. only cost about 40 bucks from jegs.

Re: Fan Issues?
I have an 87 z28 and one of my fans runs all the time, the other only when the ac is on. Recently the main fan stopped working, turned out to be a simple grounding issue, I just regrounded it and it worked fine after that.
