The ac seem to be cooling ok not great but ok, will cool the car on max ac high, otherwise wont. The compressor is running contantley. I think it is over charged am i right?

Little more info. The line going into the compressor is ice cold, the line coming out is really hot. The presure at the port on the lo-side it like 40-50 psi running, 90 psi not running, and the compressor never turs off.

 

Your low side psi is kinda high should be seeing 20-30 psi depending if you are running R12 or R134a. Need to know how high the high side pressure is to be able to help you out and what type refrigerent you are using.

 

using r134a, dont have a pressure guage to check high pressure side.
