I have an '85 Iroc 305 TPI. Is the cooling fan controlled by the temp sensor on the front of the intake? I've heard this is a "dual purpose" sensor for the earlier TPI engine, is this true? I bought a Fan Switch(sensor) from an auto parts store that would go into the passenger side cylinder head, but I cannot locate a connector in the harness. I bought this car with the engine removed by the previous owner, and Idon't recall seeing any such sensor on the old engine..
