I am assumming that when you said reciever drier you mean accummulator. a reciever drier is used in expansion valve systems. Third gens use an orifice tube setup, so you need an accumulator. Speaking of that, get an orifice tube and a clutch cycle switch. The switch fails all the time, and when you order one, they will have one for 134A and the original 12 one. You will also need an evaporator as well.
cheers!!!

The evaporator is located under the dash almost right beside the heater core. look for the entrance of the ac lines into the firewall and the evap is on the other side. This is the item that does the heat exchange from the freon and makes the car cool. The orifice tube, on the other hand will be at the exit of the high side line going into the evaporator.

Now even though it keeps pressure will I still need to change the evap or can I vac it out good and reuse it.

As long as you have pressure in the system, and have no leaks, then it would seem ok to me that all you have to do is flush the evaporator and continue to use it.
