where is the radiator a good spot for temp guage sensor
where is the radiator a good spot for temp guage sensor
I bought a mech. Temp guage and put the sensor in the radiator I have a summit aluminum radiator it has a extra plug for that or a fan switch. Is the radiator a good spot or should I get a therm. Housing with a plug and put it there?

I would make sure the sensor is as close to the incoming coolant as possible, but yes the best place would be on the thermostat housing.

supreme4life, as hgffrank says, the thermostat housing is the best and easiest place to install the sender for the mechanical water temp gauge. Not to change the subject but how was the install for your new Summit aluminum radiator? I have heard that they are supposed to be a direct fit but require some modifying to get it in?
