single fan ,not working

single fan ,not working
i put new relay and fan switch on car and it ain't turning on. if i jump the relay it turns right on.but wont come on by itself.i even put a brand new ecm in this car.

have you checked to see of the fan switch is working properly? ig you ground the switch does the fan turn on?

well grounded wire for fan switch, turned on fine.the sensor (brand new)came w/ some sort of factory red sealant on it could that be the prob?

the red stuff is pipe dope or telfon lube, not problem there. I know that my old stock fan switch didnt turn on until almost 240 degrees, which is way too high to be worth a damn. A good, lower temp hypertech or jet fan switch will work much better.
