I did my heater core in an hour and i wasn't even really trying. Even the dreaded top bolt was mega easy to me. I didn't even need to remove the dash panel. If I ever have to do again all I will do is remove the bottom dash panel the computer and the box cover. I could have easily done this in 30mins albeit a rush job. Don't be scared to try ths at home.

 

That's the only way I've ever done them. Just pull the lower dash pieces, reach in, and there it is.
