3.4l V8 taurus twin fans
hey guys i have a 97 sho radiator and fans and want to install them in place of my belt drive fan to free up some power and quiet the fan down an but but my lg4 wiring harness is diced to bits it was a non cc Q-jet as far as i can tell and it is a base model and i dont have the shisty gauge cluster so it is real simple but i need help to establish where to start electrically yes i know that there is a tech article and i have read it but i want to try to establish if i at one point had an electric fan and work from there but the intake heads and even carb are all replaced at some point so maybe square 1 is better you tell me

If your car had the LG4, then it didn't have an electric fan. You'll need to isntall the wiring from scratch.
Forget the Frod radiator. It's no better than what you've got now, and most likely won't fit.
The fans however, might be quite good.
I think "square 1" is pretty much where you're at. I'd suggest looking at getting a whole wiring package from somewhere; wires, sensor, & relay. Hayden makes them, I believe the part # you want is the 3651.

Well if you bought 2 kits and found 2 places to put the sensors and wired one to each fan, then you could make them "progressive". I don't know of any controller you can buy int he aftermarket that would do that with only one sensor though. But it would be kind of cool. (excuse the pun...)

Re: 3.4l V8 taurus twin fans
well i looked at them again today and came to four conclusions
1. they are larger than i remember
2. they are both 2 speed
3. i lost the pig tails for the connector
4. there are 4 possible speeds maybe 6 if you can run both motor windings in each motor simultaneously
most likely i will be adding the cooling system in the spring along with batt. engine temp and oil pressure gauges when i put the interior back in it is red with grey one piece seats out of an 86 do you think the grey seats on red interior will look bad (it is a medium blue 87 firebird base model)
but i could not find that kit on their site
