My left fan does not kick in till my 1991 Z28 350 TPI gets to about 230-240 and the right side never kicks in even with the ac running... Someone please help cause my car won't fight the summer like it is... This is Texas... Radiator is clean, thermo i believe is new, and fins are clean...

Check your relays. Also, your fan switch may be seeing its final day. If you have to change the fan switch, swap it with a aftermarket one. They can turn on the fan as low as 180 instead of 220(stock)

Re: Fan Problem... To Hot...

I run the fan switch that's on at 200° and off at 185°. Works great for summer and winter. Keeps the car cool but doesn't run all the time.

Are you still on the original R12 A/C? You might be a bit low on R12. If that's the case, your passenger fan probably isn't kicking on because it's not getting high enough pressure when the A/C is running.
