CORVETTE FANS & BLADES

Well, since nobody had any information including vendors, here goes. Some time next weekend, I am installing new replacement fans and blades that are OEM for a 91 Corvette. The fan motors for vettes will bolt on to the original 3 legged gm "shrouds" for my 91Z. The blades appear to be a bit more aggressive and the motors are totally enclosed as compared to the vented motors on the camaro. I realize there are better fans out there as I stock and sett 4 different versions of electric aftermarket fans at my radiator shop, however, it would be nice to continue to use the bolt ins that came on the car. I will post any improvements noted on this swap. The OEM vette motors are from Ecklers as are the blades. I noticed that if you go to a discount parts store, they seem to use the same motor for both vehicles but Ecklers has two completely different numbers for each. The motors are AC Delco #15-8404, GM # 22104439 but they are now manufactured by Visteon Corp. as superceded #24017809 or Visteon #a7025132001. They showed up as a totally enclosed motor as the OEM picture suggested so I know they're a real GM vette part and not generic. I'll let you all know that are interested how it works out.
