Classic Radiators: Ebay?
Has anybody here used this radiator? It looks like it might be a good piece and the price is really nice. What do you guys think?

Re: Classic Radiators: Ebay?
That actually is a pretty good price on that piece. It's not much of a cooling upgrade, however, because it is still a 1 row aluminum just like oem but with aluminum tanks welded on instead of nylon tanks crimped on with gaskets. I sell the oem plastic tank (nylon) version for about $109. The only problem I see with these is serviceability. If the radiator ever needs rodded out the tanks will have to be cut off in a mill to do a nice job as we offer this service on high end all aluminum radiators. Problem is to rod out and regasket a plastic tank unit runs about $65.00 but to remove tanks, rod out and tig weld tanks back on to an all aluminum unit runs about $135. I would probably spring for the additional few dollars and install a 2 row all aluminum rad like we sell for $286.00 or $275 on a 10 pc buy. If you are not looking for an upgrade on cooling efficiency and just want a replacement, I would get you into a plastic tank version for about $109. That's my thoughts. Let me know if I can help. Scott
