I am doing a total rebuild of my 89 IROC and I decided to pull the A/c and heater out. I was wondering what all I can pull out with it being relativly easy. I already have the A/C compressor and box out, the radiator for the ac out, all the lines in the engine bay out and I'm working on the heater core removal now. As far as I know that is all I can really remove, but it's always better to ask right? I really just want to simplify the car as much as possible and I live in Minnesota so I don't really need A/C and it is not going to be out in the winter (damn salt).

And does anyone know where i can get a plate to cover the hole in the firewall where the box was or am I going to have to have someone fabricate one for me? I know you can get a delete box for it, but I just want a plate to make the back wall look flat.
