Coolant on the pasenger side??
Ok, I had track in some mud in a few days ago and took both mats out to wash and found a yellow sticky dryed up liquid on the floor of the passenger side. I wiped it up a little pissed off and then two days later I looked again and it was there again. My first guess is that it is coolant for the coil in the dash. Problem is my coolant is green not yellow. So has anyone had there coil break and did it drip to the carpet? Any guessing would be good to I’m just try to get a idea what is going on before I take it apart this weekend.

animal living in your dash leaving you presents?
if it's coming from that i would also assume it should be green, but possibly with buildup it's finally rusted through and coming out with with buildup?

Well, consider the other possible sources of moisture inside the car. Water is usually water, but it can stain carpets.
However most likely, if it smells like coolant, looks like coolant, it probably is coolant. Time to examine your heater core. Different color coolant or not I'd still look it closely.

Chances are your heater core cracked. I had the exact same thing happen just replace the heater core and clean up all the coolant thats what i had to do.
