180 stat advise

I am going to flush my radiator, change my diveter valve " I think its bad becasue I am not getting any heat and I saw coolant leaking around it this morning" and I am wanting to switch to a 180 stat. Do I need to do anything when switch to a 180 stat? I dont want to screw up anything but my 5.7 is running 220-240?

Re: 180 stat advise

Damani, I was going over some old posts looking for info on another matter. Did you get the information you were looking for? If not I will be online again tomorrow afternoon and will answer any questions I can.

No problems switching from 195 to 180 thermostat. Nothing else needs to be changed.
