Hy guys,
i driven the car over a mounten, many corners, pused it hard, braked befor the corners always full or hard.

i driven arround 2 miles.

the engine was about 212 F when i stoped to make a check. Well, it smoked alot from the front tire room and it smelled like what is burned or somethng. i think the smoke comes from the stock front brakes??
on the left and the right side, the color on the brake came in the same place off a little bit, maybe that is a indicator for too hot brakes?!?

the front brakes are disc, the rear brakes are drums..

so my question, i realy hope i dont damaged the engine, what i dont think, can it realy be that the brake smoked so big????

heres a picture from the engine room...maybe that ...it looks like a tape to me, maybe that smoked? its in the near of the washer fluid

heres another picture:

thanks for reading...

ok i checked this part this doesnt smelled like burened, it smelled burned from here where is the blue thing lol:

Try getting some smaller pictures, or resize those.

The brakes get hot as well as your engine which will cause them to smoke. Wait for them to cool down, but do not put water on them as they will crack. I wouldn't think that you would have any damage or anything.

Re: pused hard -> smoke from front tire room
thanks for fast answare, bullydawg,

yea i think its the left disc brake.
i let the engine running in the stand, after i see the smoke, the engine doesnt get colder then, but the smoke goes away after maybe 5 minutes.

i think its the brake pad. i dont know how old they.
is the stock disc brake so "bad" or is it maybe because the brake pad is so old?

im sorry for the pictures.

i checked the disc brake, looks pretty old damn, maybe there are still stock ! what u guys think?

You just overheated your brakes probably. Worst case scenario you'll need new pads and rotors. Not a big deal.

Re: pused hard -> smoke from front tire room
is this normal for the stock brake or is it because the brake pad is maybe old?

i want go often to the race track, now im a little bit worry about this. hmm i driven only arround 2 miles hard.

so when i must change the rotor and the pad?

the pad doesnt looks like burned.
