Best Coolant Evans NPG+ Waterless Coolant
Last Season, I replaced the entire cooling system on my 1985 Trans Am. New GM Radiator, Water Pump, Hoses, thermostat ect.
As you all know, these F-Bodys run Hot !!!! Especially with the AC on, which has been converted.
After much research, I decided to go with with Evans NPG+ Waterless Coolant. The main thing I noticed, the Temperture gauge is not as hot as it used to be. Plus I can be in Traffic with the AC on without fearing Overheating !!
The key thing is with Evans Coolant that there is NO WATER in the system at all ! If you convert, you must DRAIN THE ENGINE BLOCK !!
I even converted my daily driver to evans coolant as well. Cost is $32.99 per gallon, but does not need to be changed since it does not use any Water. Trans Am took almost 2 Gallons to fill.
I like the product and appears to do would they say it does in my opinion. No, I do not work for Evans, I am in IT !!
Anyone else run it ???
