a/c delete efan ?

i have removed all my a/c parts except my compressor cuz it seems to act as a relay for my efans, i have the L98 with the 2 efans, i was wondering when i ditch the compressor when my delete pulley shows up how do i keep my fans powered for the t stat to come on on there own, i currently have one connection running to the compressor and my right side fan is always on with ignition, any info would be great

Re: a/c delete efan ?

I was reading on this site a while back that the temp sensor from a Buick Grand National would fit in place of the right side head temp switch and "come on" at a lower temp than 3rd gens do (which is too hot, IMHO). You could install one of those and use it to ground both fan relays. If I ever dump my computer, I'll probably do that. Might be a good idea to install a back-up switch to ground the relays if the sensor ever fails.
