Fan Switch Plug Size???

Engine: 305 TPI
Transmission: 700R4
Axle/Gears: 4.10
Fan Switch Plug Size???
I have a 1986 Camaro that did not come with a fan switch. I'm in the process of installing a fan switch and cannot figure out what size the factory plug is on the head. It' appears to be a 1/4 inch square ratchet, but i cannot get anything to fit in there. Does anyone know what size this plug is or have any tips on how to get it out??? Thanks!
