would I be able to drain, etc, my a/c so I can have cold air? what do I have to do and how many cans of r-12 will I need?

 

Why worry about the A/C now it going to cold in NJ in a few weeks. So, your question. I take it you don't know too much about the A/C system and R12. Your best bet is to convert over to the R134 and have someone do the work. Not a DIY type of repair.

 

its a but costly to convert, but in the end its more cost effective.
