Fan Question

I have the duel fan setup in my car and I have it wired to stay on with the ignition to provide maximum cooling. However, I can only get the drivers side to turn on causing the motor to still get extremely hot. I even tried unplugging the drivers side harness and putting it into the passenger side but it wont turn on. I assume this means that the motor is burnt out on the passenger side. Am I better off replacing this motor, and keeping the duel fan setup, or should i try to pick up a single larger fan from a non ac car?

any advice?!

Re: Fan Question

I would stick with the dual fan setup...and get a fan switch. There is no benefit to having the fans go on as soon as the car starts because the thermostat hasn't even opened yet. The point of the fans is to cool the hot coolant coming from the engine. You are only wasting voltage and putting extra load on your fan motors by having them run all the time.
