JET Fan Switch
JET Fan Switch
I just installed a Jet stage two chip in my 87 Trans am 305 TPI and the fan switch thats also from jet that summit recommened. I ran the car with only the chip in the computer, then after installed the fan swith to were it told me and my temp gauge is past the red mark when its not even that hot. Did i do something wrong or is there a way this can be fixed quickly? thanks.....

the fan switch is on the passengerside of the block, did you swap the jet one in place of the sensor on the driverside?

Thats where i installed it on the driverside of the car. The instructions said that it would be located between spark plugs one and three. I guess i messed up and put it on the driverside. Where exactly is the fan switch located at?

look on the passenger side of the block in between the very back spark plug and the second to back plug..you might only be able to get to it underneath..thats how i did it

The sensor on the drivers side is for your temperature gauge.
