87 Camaro 2.8l V6 Overheating
hey guys,
I have a87 2.8l v6 and it overheats, i have really strange gauges. instead of actually telling me the temp, theres just a red light that comes on, i Assume that means its over heating because it only does it if i stop at lights and sit. the top hose is usually warm when i check it, so i'm just looking for some troubleshooting, ask me questions i'll give you answers quick, I'm just not sure where to start.
thanks

chances are if your overheating when your stopped, it can be that the fan is not turning on, if that is the case, check the fan relay, and if thats not it check and see if the fan motor is working through the relay housing, all of this is of course assuming that your fan is the prob.
