Is CryO really worth the money?

I mean if you dont "race"

But you "race" every now and then and wanna keep that extra cool..does it really help and is it worth the extra $150 instead of buying all new radioator, water pump, fans, thermostat, etc..?

Anything is anything, just depends on your type of anything. I'd like to one day have my full exhaust headers back coated as well as all intake parts, cool air and cool engine bay temps, but some would say why coat the exhaust and this and that, why, because I want to and it would be nice to direct all heat from my engine bay out the rear, not through my firewall, not through my floorpans, but in the intake and out the back tips.

So its just what you think is worth it. Some say it is, others will say it isnt.

I know a Z31 owner who Cryo treated his axles, still busted from heat stress. After that, he states Cryo is NOT worth the money.

Well i see some idiots that run 14's throwing CryO outta a bottle and the injectors are in front of their Radiator...

I always thought' that CryO even for something like that would either

1: freeze and condensate something in your Radiator

2: Not be worth the money for something just a little colder...

But idk..thats why i was asking lol

OHHHH, the spray kit...Haha, I thought you meant the treatment of. Anyway. I have heard good and bad things about these products.

The one thing I remember was someone saying they sprayed it on the intercooler and some of it got into the intake and ???screwed up his tune¿¿¿

So if you have an open filter or its somewhere it might get overspray then it could just be a PITA. So either completely cover the intake, breathers and all other orifices that would allow air to seep in or have a possible intruder of cryo through your intake everytime you shoot it and have it possible screw up your tune.

But people do use it both with good results and bad.

but now that you say this, you wont need it. It wont be cost effective at all. To me at least?

Wait are you sprying this onto the the radiator? You know its ment for intercoolers right? You wont get any power gains from spraying your rad, ya it might get a few degrees cooler but nothing that small will make you alot faster, mabye like a few hundreths in the q if your lucky, but its not worth your money

Looking at your specs of your car you wont ever need this. Our cars SHOULD run around 200-220* normally. Cooler temps are nice but they were made to run hot. Unless you have serious mods pushing you above 220* you shouldnt worry about heat problems. After that, start cooling.
