Need some opinions here...which radiator is best for my situation?

87 Iroc w a Vortech Supercharger..it was built it in the fall, it ran awesome, not hot, no cooling issues...stayed the same thru winter..(located in NJ)
now the summer is here and I learned the iroc HATES the warm weather..the supercharger is like a f--kin oven under there...the stock radiator aint cutting it, the car heats up like a bat outta hell...so i cant enjoy it till this problem gets rectified...it currently has a stock dual fan set up and a 160 degree t-stat.

I'm looking at 3 options for a high perf aluminum radiator...Ron Davis, Afco, and Griffin...now I have spoke to techs at all 3 companies and naturally, they all claim theres are the best...which is no help to me...so I turn to you guys for opinions...what should I go with?

I want to be able to get in the iroc and drive a 100 miles from north nj to the beach in 90+ degree, sitting in some nasty traffic on the highway, and not have to sweat bullets looking at my temp gauge every 5 seconds, while watching it like a hawk.

all 3 brands are 2 rows 1 inch thick tubing aluminum radiators. all 3 are in the same price range, so just looking for opinions here on what you think is best. so far im leaning toward Ron Davis, as I haven't seen any bad reviews of them online, (plus aparently all the Nascar and offroad desert racing teams use them..who knew?). Afco was also highly recomdended by the shop who built my motor. anyone have these units or know anyone who does use them? praises? complaints? concerns?

Can't speak for radiator companies, but I'm wondering if your transmission cooler is going through the radiator or bypassing it? I noticed my radiator warms up slower since I had the transmission cooler bypass it.

I have a Long Tru Cool trans cooler which has the built in low temp bypass for those cold winter days.

 

Not for nothing but i'm more into fuction than wether some ones name is on the product. I am actually going to buy a 3 row radiator off of ebay for a fraction of the cost of the top name brands you have in mind. And plus this place has a limited lifetime warranty and 100% money back guarantee as it states in the ad if it doesnt cool your car,fit,or have manufactor defects. Here is the link

Trans cooler has nothing to do with it. #1 trans heats up slower than the motor.#2 trans temp should be a max of 170 to 180 degrees.

 

i am running a griffin 2 core radiator and not a problem. but i have never used the other brands so cant help you out there or tell you which one is the best. all i know is, i would buy another griffin any day.

 

I have a griffin in a ZR-1 corvette and it is great. I have two be cools in a 90 iroc and a 92 Z28 convertible and they fit and cool very well. The griffin did not fit very well and I had to fabricate the box to get it in but the be cool is a drop in. I would vote for be cool for the easy installation.

I know of another excellent radiator. It is made by alumitech reproductions. They are hand build here in the good ol USA! They are not epoxied like some radiators. They are fully tig welded. I powdercoated mine black (for stock & stealth look)and if it were epoxied it would have fallen apart in the oven. I know it is pricey but I have one for my bb chevelle and it is the best radiator I've owned. I don't have the third gen radiator from them personally so I cannot comment on fitment, but my chevelle radiator is by far the best built, best fitting, best cooling radiator I have owned. I do not work for them and I am not getting paid to say this, just figured I would throw this in there for people to check out. You can check out their website for the specs
