need my A/C
I got a Pontiac Firebird. When i bought the car the a/c didnt work.
All it does is blow out hot air. I now nothing about a/c does anyone got a suggestion. Do i just need freon?

Does the ac compressor engage when you turn it on?
Does it have ANY freon in it now?
Does it have r12 or 134A? Should not mix them ! ! !
If the system is empty, it must be evacuated, checked for leaks, and then charged.
