RACE FAN
Without the shroud you’re losing suction therefore overheating can occur.
The shroud allows air to pass thru the entire radiator.
Without the shroud you have reduced the area to 16” in diameter.

A 16” fan is large enuff if it has enuff CFM.
Get a shroud, and you might want to get a RACING fan and get more CFM.
Happy Racing!

Fog lights are not driving lights. They look dorky. Turn em off slow pokes.
How bout those dorks too scared to drive without headlights on in the daytime!

Re: Fan question
Not to hi-jack the thread, but there's a very active thirdgen
club in the DFW area. Check out NTTGA.com, and try to make
it to the next meeting in Sep. I'm sure you can get some good
advice from the gearheads you'll meet there.
