dual fan amp draw
I have twin electric stock fans in my 87 gta. I wired them together, on a 30a circuit with a relay for ignition on operation. I drove the car for a half hour or so and the fuse blew. What is the amperage draw for the two fans together??? I wired in a fan switch to the manifold on the ground, so that the fans don't run constantly, i'm thinking that will help, but i am still wondering why 2 fans would blow 30a circuit. Hoping withthe fan switch that it won't happen again, but just want to make sure it's safe.

Re: dual fan amp draw
I tested a set of those fans once and found each fan
motor pulls 7.5A once up to speed, getting up to speed
(first couple seconds)each motor pulled over 20A,so if
you use a seperate fuse of 20-30 for each motor setup
should work fine.
