T/A Hood

T/A Hood

I know of not far away where I can get a T/A hood that should fit my 89 base bird practically for a song...

just have to paint it to match my car...

the question is: can you get any real cooling or under the hood air circulation by those vents the TA hoods have over what my stock bird hood without any vents or cowl allows?

rain damage to stuff underneath vents?

You would have to cut the underhood bracing, to make them functional.

OIC...never saw the underneath of a T/A hood...

I wonder if there is much cooling function in the formula hood's cowling?

If you are referring to the power bulge hood, it's designed for intake and not extraction.
However I'm sure it could work the other way when the part that connects to the air cleaner is removed.
