Goodyeard radiator hose collapsing

So I figured I'd need an internal spring for the lower radiator hose but when I bought the goodyear blue hose kit I figured, hey it's goodyear it has to be decent. Well the lower doesn't have a spring and when it was idling I blipped the throttle and didn't that damn thing almost completely flatten. I'm using a Miloden water pump if that makes the situation any worse. Where is a good place to get a spring / coil so I can put it in the lower radiator hose?

OK you blipped the throttle and it collapsed, but did it stay collapsed?

Does it collapse at steady idle, or high RPM?

If not, it’s OK.

How bout those nitwits too scared to drive without headlights in the daytime and the nitwits that need headlights for a little rain

Id did not stay collapsed, i.e. when I let the throttle bracket go, the hose went back to normal. The blip of the throttle put it I'd guess 3000+ rpms.

Does your cooling system pressurize when warm?

Due to the fact it collapses only during the blips there’s no problem.

However if you still don’t want it you can get a spring from a junk yard.

Few or no manufacturers are putting springs in those hoses now.
