A/c not cold

Hello everyone this is my first post. I recently bought a 91 RS and the A/C isnt cold. Being in florida this is something I really need to fix.

I had some freon so I let out most of the freon that was in the system and recharged it. As I was filling it the compressor came on but the air is not cold. What could be my problem?

Because it’s a used car, you don’t know the condition of the system.

You should get the system evacuated.

Anyway, when the system is running is the accumulator (the aluminum cylinder at the right rear of the engine compartment) cold?

Happy Racing!

How bout those too scared to drive without headlights in the daytime and the ones that need headlights for a little rain
