dual fan to single fan

My stock dual fans that were on my car when I got it I ended up breaking because the rusty bolts just wouldn't come out, and the lower support was all cracked and garbage because my radiator support rotted out. I ended up picking up a single fan off a third gen bird while I was at a junk yard one day. Is their anything I need to do to convert to the single fan, and dso I need to use the driver side fan wire to plug in it since that's the fan that runs all the time or can I use either one? Curious to if it will hurt anything and if it's just a simple swap.

Re: dual fan to single fan

I'm somewhat surprised that you wish to go from a dual set-up to a single. Most members would swap to the reverse.

Re: dual fan to single fan

I just like the over all look of the single fan better than the duals. Also, I'm not into the burning ECM stuff, and all that junk so I rather just have one single fan blowing all the time, than a one dual fan blowing until it reaches a certain temperature.

Re: dual fan to single fan

I've rigged my duals to both come on with temperature or AC. Works very nicely--and I don't have to mess with any in cabin switches.
