Another Fan Question
Another Fan Question
Hi all,
I have searched through previous postings but im having a hard time finding the right answer to what im looking for.
I bought an 87 GTA the car has quite a few cooling issues but the one im having the biggest problem right now with is the fan.
It has the duel fan setup, it seems the kid I bought the car from wired the fans to come on when the key is turned. The funny thing is the passenger side turns on not the driver which i think is the fan that should come on. I really dont know how he wired the fan like this as the relays are still there, but the primary fan connector going to the relay is fried and melted. Im not sure what he did to cause this.
My question is knowing that my passenger side is coming on and now my drivers side is not i would like to just wire the two fans together without a switch but keeping it safe. Like I said I did some searching in the forums, but i think most people are having the opposite problem im having and not knowing the wiring im not sure the best approach.
Any advice?
