Need Help

Can someone help me with this connection. This was on the re-manufactured intake manifold that I purchase and installed. I have tried to get the hose over this fitting, no luck the hose goes from here to the firewall. What kind of hose works with this? is there something that screws on this to get the old connection?

New installed it is going to be some work to get it off.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Need Help

This is a better/larger pic:

That looks like a BSP fitting, just remove it and use a normal hose nipple to NPT fitting.

Sadly I think you are correct, I will start spraying it with PB and get out the box wrench. Thanks

Re: Need Help

Place your box wrench over the hex and smack the other end sharply with a hammer. If I had that in my shop, I would just use my air impact to bust it loose.
