I used my prestone backflush kit for the first time today, and I noticed something weird when I used it. The piece that hooks from the garden hose to the black inlet on the hose had open slots in between. When I turned on the faucet, water was running out eveywhere on my engine. So I took it back off and wrapped it up with some electrical tape. Worked great after that. Did I get a defective garden hose/adapter or am I missing something????
