Fan switch temp sensor wire
I need to know what color the switch wire is for my 92v6 to v8 swap is. my fan is not kicking on and i need to make sure it's hooked up right.

Think it's black. I think I remember the knock sensor being dark blue. If you have one you suspect is it, ground it with key on and see if fan runs - the switch grounds that wire when gets up to temp.

On my 92 RS the fan switch wire is green w/ white stripe that goes to the fan relay. Relay has three more wires going to it. Thick red (power), black w/ red stripe To fan, skinny wire( black or grey?) that is I believe switched 12v . Fan switch grounds out the relay and sends power to the fan. Don't know if V6 is the same, mine's the 5.0 TBI. With key on, ground it like newbie said for test
