No A/C in my 90 Rs
Hey I'm new to the site far as posting threads. I have a 90 rs w/ a 2.8l v6 with no A/C. The 2.8 engine was put in after the og engine died out about 10 yrs ago. I'm from CA but live out in Hot as hell Ga and I'm baking in my car. Does anyone know of some alternative methods of cooling. I heard there are a few portable a/c. I've tried to find one but can't. I could sure use the help w/ this issue.

Based on your post it sounds like your car never had AC.
There are no “portable AC’s” however you can install an AC system from replacement parts available from auto parts stores.
OR
You can install an under-dash evaporator with control panel made for the Corvette or other sports car, and install a compressor plus condenser under the hood.
( There are no ‘all parts included’ kits available for your car. )

Yup it never had it. The crazy thing is when I drove it in high school about 9 yrs ago I swore it had it lol. It doesn't get as hot n the Bay Area as it does n Ga, I wish I wouldve known before I shipped it. Installing all that sounds expensive I'm really kind of dine putting extra money into. A few mechanics told me they could do it but they said I should rather spend the money on another car lol. Thanx tho
