Compatible ac components?
My dad is junking his old 88 z24 cavalier and he's letting me strip any parts off of it I want. So I was wondering if any of the ac stuff will swap over into a camaro. The compressor won't be needed because im going to have to get a new one anyway. Also if the stuff from the cavalier would work is it any less effective? Maybe a smaller system or something like that. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated the PO stripped all the ac stuff out with the engine swap and id rather ride around in a 50 degree ice chest with a few less hp than a 110 degree oven like I am now.

If you’re crafty you can use the cavalier parts.
The function of the parts is the same.
You’re ‘gonna hafta’ fabricate some hoses and brackets to create a trouble free system.
It isn’t going to be a “swap over” pit stop.
If the condenser and evaporator are smaller you will get less coolformance.
