Ideal running temp 85 IROC 305TPI

Ok, I know I need a new Fan switch. But I need some help determining what temp on/off range to get. The stock on at around 230* seems too high, especially for hotter climates. I have an 85 IROC 305 TPI single fan.

Thanks for all suggestions!

220*F + coolant temp is usually best for fuel mileage and emissions.

Best WOT power is generally between 160*F and 180*F coolant temp.

You might want to consider installing a user-adjustable switch so you can adapt to conditions.
