foam in radiator
My radiator gets foam in it. Not a lot just on surface and it goes away few moments after shutting off car. I read through ohter threads. Some say head gasket, some say intake. Some say exaust. I would like to know how to tell which one. No water in oil. No oil in water. Does not overheat really. But when I crank over ingine it like burps out with each crank. I don't know if I should flush and replace all hoses. it is just odd. It is like it just has a lot of pressure in system

Re: foam in radiator
If its burping out with each crank it may be getting combustion chamber gasses (or compression) in there. Head gasket.
You can get a block test kit from Crapa (or is it Napa) auto parts.
You fill a tube with a blue liquid, press one end to the radiator neck (helps to have the coolant level down) and with a suction bulb on the other end, draw the air into the tube. If the liquid turns yellow there are combustion chamber gasses present.

Look closely at your gaskets. You should be able to see between a wate rjacket and a cylinder where its leaking. If you see something that is good. Also look closely at your heads. If cost is not a big factor then it may be a good idea to take them and have them checked at a machine shop.
