Hey gang, I live in Arkansas and have 3 third gens and will undoubtedly have more. I would like to hear from those who have installed a front pusher fan. In (south) Arkansas it gets Africa hot much like texas and Louisiana and in traffic no matter what set-up you have it does my heart good to know that I have new fans, water wetter, be cool radiator etc. But, I think all of us southern guys should consider an extra pusher fan that can be toggled on or off when we need it. I know some of you have already dealt with this and know what fan fits the best and how to mount it so without re-inventing the wheel I would like for you guys to send part numbers, pictures, wiring diagrams etc so I, and others and can get this installed before summer gets here. I know some of you have replaced the two factory fans as well with a better, stronger fan be it single or dual so I want to hear from you guys as well. I guess we can have two sections; a front pusher section and rear puller section. Most overheating problems come down to a basic problem of not moving enough air and if I am going to dig into the front of my cars I want to do it once and do it right. This thread could be used by all so everyone who has pulled a davinci and really gone to an extreme with an ellaborate system this is your chance to shine. This thread could be posted at the top of the cooling page for people like me who live in 100 plus degree summer heat and need a LOOOTTT of cooling. I have heard that a taraus cooling fan is a popular upgrade for a lot of cars but don't know a lot about it. lets hear it from all of you who have really high horsepower cars, sbc 400 cars who have got this cooling thing more than whipped. We can cover radiators but I would really like to see what fans really put out the CFMs and if there are other OEM fan set-ups that plug and play better than ours. Fancy shrouds and cooling scoops and ducts are welcome also. Any great cooling idea needs to be heard from here. Lets really put together a cooling inventory that people can draw from and keep our cars COOL.
