Switching from one big fan to duels
Hello,
Heres my setup, 3.1L stock v6 no mods yet
.
Ok that being said I just put in a new 2 row radiator because the guy I bought it off of put stop leak in it and it was clogged and Id rather have a new one then try to flush. I flushed the rest of the system out but thats not the issue. I am going from one big fan to two 12" fans. I have to figure out how to mount them but I ran into a problem first. The fan was wired direct to power. I want mine to run with the switch. Where are they and how should I wire these up. I think I would like one to run with primary and one secondary but since it came stock with one big fan it probley dosent have secondary. So again any help you guys can give me will be greatly appreciated.

Buy an aftermarket fan controller and use it - I highly recommend Flex-a-lite. The stock wiring, relays, and fan switches in the head are just junk in my opinion. The aftermarket controllers probe the radiator fins, and work so so much better than the factory junk.
