Kits for filling from the high pressure side?

I notice that the R134 kits that all the chain stores sell are coming with a 200psi pressure gauge and they fit only the high side, the larger connector in the orifice tube line.

I thought it was only safe to fill from the low side, the smaller connector opposite the low pressure switch on the receiver/dryer (accumulator)?

Nevermind: I feel stupid, I just realized that they are probably using a adapter fitting to make the low pressure fitting the larger size to use the kits.

Normally you charge thru the low side.
