Radiator Hose Rerouting
I was trying to get some info to see if the way I rerouted my hoses was OK, or would I run into any issues.
The car is an 85 Camaro Z28 that has the 89 350 TPI in it.
What I did to clean up the engine bay a bit was, I deleted all of the heater core hoses and the diverter valve on the passenger side. ALL I have running to the radiator is the main upper and lower hoses, and the Tranny cooler lines and the overflow hose. I plugged the intake manifold nipple and the throttle body nipples.
Will I run into any engine damaging issues with this setup?

With no bypass you'll have hot spots in the engine until the thermostat opens.

Hmm, so I would assume that I either need to drill a hole in the thermostat or reattach the hose from the radiator to the front of the intake manifold?

Instead of drilling a hole in the stat, you could try running it without one. Or put in a 160 and make it so the stat opens at a lower temp. That way there is less of a chance of overheating.
