Need help with Fan switch wiring! :)
Need help with Fan switch wiring! :)
Hey guys,
I believe this is the right section for this; I've purchased a 1984 camaro z28 305 h0 awhile back, and since then started repairing all the problems with the car. Recently i found out a problem with my cooling fan, that i believe that the wire for the fan switch was cut, so as many other wires. So the guy who owned the car before me, manually installed a switch inside the dashboard because of the situation. So now my question is; can somebody sell me a wiring harness, or direct me to some sites that sell wiring harnesses for the engine bay?
Thanks Lukaz

Re: Need help with Fan switch wiring! :)
Install an aftermarket fan controller. The factory type fan switch in the pass head never works well, and is junk in my opinion. Since you need to rewire it anyway, do it right and use an aftermarket controller like a Flex-a-lite. I run the $100 Flex-a-lite controller and it's great! Fully adjustable, doesn't use any factory wiring at all, and after 4 years, I wouldn't trade it for anything!
